The green beauty world is a small but slowly growing industry. To help accelerate the process and make better beauty decisions, LeVert Beauty opened their online doors in February this year. CEO Ana Congdon, along with her team of beauty experts, take the guesswork out of discovery. Each and every brand and product offered on the site is already approved for not only its non-toxic nature, but superior performance. LeVert is luxury based, simple to navigate, and customer service driven.

Vapour Organic Beauty and Kjaer Weis are just two of the many high-end names you’ll find on the site. To give you an idea for the perfect LeVert starter kit, I have tried and tested some bestselling products by these brands.

Vapour Beauty’s Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation is a nourishing foundation with a unique pumpkin and papaya complex. It comes in liquid form but the texture feels smoother than a liquid, almost serum-like. Going on my face initially it provides a medium coverage but is buildable to full. It does not settle into any fine lines around my forehead or eyes. Many fuller coverage foundations tend to do so with me, a very frustrating issue for someone who is only 28. Another thing worth a mention is the light-as-air packaging, making it the perfect companion for travel! It comes with a pump as well. I appreciate the 12-shade selection which come in varying undertones. The foundation lasts well over a primer and leaves the skin with a healthy, luminous finish.

Vapour Beauty Mesmerize Eye Color in Seduce is the perfect combination of plum and brown. This unique cream eyeshadow in stick form glides on smoothly to the lid with sheer application. It’s shimmery and suits a quick, no-fuss look but also makes a great base for the next product I’m reviewing.

Kjaer Weis single eyeshadow in Divine is the ultimate mate to Vapour’s Seduce. Layered on top, the two create a multi-dimensional smokey eye that enhances all eye colors. The combination of plum from Seduce and the neutral grey of Divine makes my brown eyes look bigger, brighter, and more awake not to mention sultry. I like pairing this particular look with glossy black liquid eyeliner and tons of mascara. Greys are often my favorite color eyeshadow to wear and they are grossly underrated! The texture of Divine is spectacular. It’s smooth, pigmented, and blends easily. Quite simply, it reminds me of how easily a loose mineral eyeshadow glides on the eye and blends — minus the mess of one. Divine is by far the superstar product in this collection of goodies.

Layer a bit of Kjaer’s Cream Blush in Desired Glow on top of Vapour’s foundation for a gorgeous but natural looking rosy tan. I like this color because it’s an easy, everyday option. Cream blushes are normally a nightmare on my skin. I have some acne scarring that doesn’t always look “becoming” when highlighted. Anyone with less than perfect skin can attest to this struggle. Desired Glow is pretty and doesn’t emphasize any texture issues on my skin.

Last but not least, try Kjaer’s Lip Tint in Passionate. It’s a gorgeous berry color that can be applied sheer or built up for more opacity. Lip Tints contain Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil which I am pleased to know contain wrinkle-reducing ingredients! I use my fingers to apply it — one layer provides a stain-like look, more layers deepen the color and make it nighttime appropriate. Passionate lasts about 3 hours on my lips before a touch up is needed. It’s a fabulous product to take on the go since a lip brush is not needed for application.

All of these beautiful pieces can be found on LeVert Beauty. I hope this roundup helped you find your new destination for all healthy beauty.
